Pablo. I’m not a marvel nerd so those options are out the window

Your loss. I'm not even remotely a comic book head but Daredevil is legitimately one of the greatest things they had going. I didn't even acknowledge Daredevil until that show. The Netflix take was night & day in comparison to the family friendly films. Don't really have to be a "Marvel nerd" to enjoy a decent flick. Hell, take away the fact that The Punisher is a Marvel property and this

Would still interest anyone who is a fan of mature action in general.

I believe they raised it already in Canada last month or so. Honestly, I don't mind if it means we end up getting more great content as a result from the price rise. But they canceled damn near all of the Marvel shows which I really enjoyed (and many others did as well), so I'm still sorta optimistic but I dunno.

Disney has their stuff launching at the tail-end of 2019, and from what I've seen, they've got some pretty interesting stuff coming out on there, so that might give Netflix some decent competition. Star Wars and Marvel is bound to bring people in, and if they manage to get the Netflix Marvel series revived on that platform, that's a huge win.

Truth be told, I'm all for the competition. Just like with consoles, it makes the industry strive to improve. As long as it's healthy and we as consumers win at the end of the day with decent monthly prices with a library that's deserving of the price, I don't think many will care. But, it's a slippery slope because as soon as they start breaking out the streaming bundles, we're only a hop skip and a jump away from it essentially being cable all over again -- only this time, you just don't feel restrained by what you watch and when you watch it. Then again... Maybe that's the future anyway.

Cancelled Netflix today.
$22 a month for something I almost never watch -- except for reruns of Seinfeld isn't worth it. And before that, the main thing keeping me subscribed was watching reruns of The Office -- which they lost once NBC created their own streaming app.

There are maybe a handful of original Netflix series that I liked. Some of them ran their course (Narcos) and others were simply cancelled before their time (The OA, Marco Polo, etc)

I suppose I may return at some point but with so many of their documentaries and movies popping up on IPTV apps on the Firestick, I don't feel like I'm missing much.

I wonder what keeps you guys subscribed.

Man i thought they did it again i was definitely about to bush this shyt

Netflix really fukked it up with all the international shyt. At least organize it better. They get all this extra shyt then cut great shows like Mindhunter but will leave shyt like YOU on for 5 seasons.

They got some great originals like Stranger Things, Arcane, Witcher, etc.

It’s just congested with mid shyt and a lot of it is from other countries to increase the streaming fanbase… and they overrate tf out of their shows, but to continue to raise prices with not following up on a lot of your hits due to “budget” is stupid. In fact, I’m also getting rid of HBO Max, Hulu been garbage, Apple TV is garbage outside of one or 2 shows, etc.

I only Keep amazon because of Prime and the ability to stream other services together (like League Pass)

Oh and fukk Netflix for changing their rating systems. Before, if a show sucked you knew it

Now they do a “match” and I’m like matching what.

Cut cable and pay $100 for internet+services yall showing them companies:russ:
I think it's worth it for the niche interests even if it's 100. Netflix is basically just cable cause they were making everything instead of focusing on what people want.

My issue with original cable was that you paid 100 but you only watched 5% of the programming. I mean who is seriously excited about the golf channel? Why does the weather channel even exist with the existence of smart phones?

Compare that to services like tubi with horror and black movie focus, crunchyroll with anime focus, curiosity stream with science focus, Disney, etc where you are watch 75% of the programming cause you are interested in them.

Rather than catering to everyone and handing out ramen, Netflix should've given a feast to only the viewers that like their most profitable series/movies. And then keep milking them for more.
