Netflix Pulls 'Chappelle's Show' After Dave Chappelle Asks for Its Removal Because He Wasn't Paid
Dave was dropping some real cautionary info about multiple businesses
his fearlessness is inspiring
Well damn say it wit yea chest Dave. That man wants his Chappelle Show money.
Damn...that was powerful.
damn. i hung on every word dave said.
that was some real fukkin shyt
Props to Netflix for doing the right thing and Dave is 100% right.
For those who didn’t watch:
Basically he said that even though he signed the contract he is not getting NOTHING off the Chappelle Show and is not even being able to use his name and likeness anywhere else... which is why he hasn’t created another show since.
And to see his show pop up on Netflix and HBO (who kicked him out their office when he pitched the show to them before Comedy Central) after it was announced that he would do SNL pissed him off... they basically was eating off his name
Dave isn't even a comedian anymore, he is the foremost social commentator on earth.
He has my support
You missed the part where he asks people not to watch Chappelle Show
I need to find that Katt Interview but to this day I think Dave left because CC owed him close to 500 million.
See they still trying to fukk him.
This was posted like Dave was down for it.
You’re right, especially this part
Yeah, I'm not listening for the laughter but out of genuine interest.
I can listen to Dave talk for hours
I remember Katt explaining it. Someone needs to find and put it up
