Y'all watched this yet? It is out.

Chicago 7, starring as Black Panther Party cofounder Bobby Seale. Sorkin’s long-gestating film depicts the real-life case of Seale and seven anti-Vietnam War activists who were charged with conspiracy to incite a riot after a peaceful protest at the 1968 Democratic National Convention spiraled into violence because of the police. (Sound familiar?) During the trial, the judge unjustly denied Seale his choice of counsel and thus a means of defending himself; the film often lingers on Seale defiantly holding his own in the courtroom.

Got some heavy hitters,

It features an ensemble cast that includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sacha Baron Cohen, Daniel Flaherty, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, John Carroll Lynch, Eddie Redmayne,

Eddie Redmayne is in it (Shout out to @MartyMcFly, @FlyRy ):sas2:
I wonder if he shoved that oscar in Keaton's face. :umad:

Its was good when it focused in Bobby Seals but I dont about those white hippies. Ending was lame. Now acting wise, ill give you that. It was good. But too long for me.

I started watching but realized I’m going to wait till post election. But it’s sorkin, and for me that’s always a must watch. Not watching for your boy:russ:

Why after election? :jbhmm: It is a movie not a series, less than 2 hours I think. You should watch it now.

Very good imo, it has got bits of humor in it as well.

Just not there yet. I’ve got legitimate tunnel vision right now. Watching an optimistic aaron sorkin thing about people coming together and aspiring to be better and actually being better and getting a happy ending makes me feel too much lol.

I’ll stick with horror movies and wrestling the rest of the month
