Why da fukk did you list "New Girl" and "The Fast & Furious" movies as examples? The 1 or 2 black male characters on "New Girl" are only supporting characters, they aren't the lead/star of the show. They're never even been love interests for the female lead or the other female who is part of the regular cast.The stars of the "The Fast & Furious" movies (Vin Diesel & The Rock) are racially ambiguous biracials that most non-blacks don't want acknowledge as being black. The other 2 black actors in the movies (Tyrese & Ludacris) are only supporting characters.
she'll prolly be put in a few situations throughout tha season where white ppl, even her boyfriend, will make her token status painfully clear by making "black jokes" and subtle insensitive remarks.
This will make her feel self conscious, and she will begin to question if being a token and immersing herself in white cliques was the right choice
but through it all, her seemingly sensitive, caring white boyfriend, who seems to always know just what to say, will constantly instill in her that this is her destiny, and tht this is what she always wanted, 2 be with tha white man

). After tht he will make a seemingly innocuous joke/compliment comparing her 2 chocolate.
