24 months is a long time when you win 2 Finals, 2 Finals MVP's, Olympic gold, 2 more league MVP's and caught at least one body, that person being the very man you speak of.
It's been a pretty eventful 24 months.
And Terry can talk all be wants but only Woopie Goldberg can hear him. The rest of us can't talk to ghosts.

No need to neg breh. I'm just saying, if you're up by 4 and you hit a 3 to put you up by 7 with 30 seconds left, it's not that big of a shot to me. If he misses the mavs are still up by 4 with 30 seconds left and probably still win the game. Not saying late game meltdowns don't happen, but if my team is up by 4 with 30 seconds left, I feel pretty confident we're getting that W.

Exactly, we saw an example of that in game 6 of this year NBA Finals. The Spurs was up by 6 with 1 minute to go and loss.

there's no secret formula to beating the heat, its just 2-3 main (obvious) things: solid defense, controlling/limiting the rebounding and having dead eye spot up shooters surrounding a superstar who can score at will.
problem is not too many (of the good) teams have that star that can do what dirk did, with that efficiency and mentality. I feel deron williams would have 2 be that (or lopez) but they remind me more of hibbert where they'll have selective dominance but then just disappear or defer.
so i do feel they have the pieces but I feel they may end up relying too much on an old pierce to be the killer. we'll see tho, and i can still see it going 7 games regardless
