Nash doesn’t seem to be the coaching type at all, especially for this team.

Vaughn will be there to help. He did a good job at his time as a HCHis in game adjustments aren't going to be good

And Atkinson is a really good coach tooKD wanted a big name coach he's comfortable with clearly. If he wanted Vaughn, he'd be coach. Superstars have never had more leverage over major coaching/personnel decisions.
Same reason Atkinson got fired early![]()
Why must we keep Scott BrooksPlease tell me why supporting yet another group of black men being surpassed for a coaching role in a sport they make up about 85% in is a disrespectful comparison? Systemic racism in America takes many forms, police brutality, mass incarceration, and the glass ceiling that keeps us from moving up the corporate ladder. Explain the disrespect.
Disrespectful comparison. True militants are rolling in their grave.
Point is Steve went the proper route.. he paid his dues he didn’t just jump into an HC gigclose enoughno head coaching experience
being an MVP point guard for successful teams is just as good as lowly assistant coach
Not a minute of coaching or front office experience and hes getting to coach a finals contender??![]()

Maybe he rather be an assistant for KD/Krie then a head-coach for some rebuilding squad. He ain't starving for money. I think its reasonable to consider the fact he might get more fulfillment out of coaching a contender with a generational talent. And to be clear I don’t have an issue with Nash getting the job, I actually think between his people skills, respect of the players, and basketball IQ he’ll make a great coach. I just feel like Jacque got a raw deal.
But like Tre said, if he’s accepting this position then he must know he’s not a candidate for any other job out there...which is sad
Look I understand the need for black representation on coaching staffs and front-office, I get it. But let's keep it real, there are 30 head coaching jobs. Hundreds of front-office jobs. This makes up an extremely insignificant portion of the black population. I dont know you but i can damn-near guarantee you dont know anyone that has held a job in the nba. My point is, it's not that damn important to compare it to more significant issues such as state-sanctioned murder. It's a disrespectful comparison. Please tell me why supporting yet another group of black men being surpassed for a coaching role in a sport they make up about 85% in is a disrespectful comparison? I have my opinions about him but he’s a legendary basketball mind. Interested to where this goes ultimately but man I wished Vaughn got that HC jobPoint is Steve went the proper route.. he paid his dues he didn’t just jump into an HC gig

That really happened? And why does Stephen continue to mention Ty Lue for these head coaching positions? Didn't he have a nervous breakdown right after LeBron left for LA?
Sam Cassell deserves a shot with a team, though.
