Instead of making Jacques the highest paid assistant in the league, why not make him head coach and make Nash the highest paid assistant in the league...since one of them has actually been coaching?

Same reason the Warriors made Mark Jackson the coach and Mike Malone the highest paid assistant in the league. They want Nash as the face and voice.

I think Jacque Vaughn deserved a chance to coach that team fully healthy. He did a really good job. Its good their keeping him and paying him more.
