How did he run Dwight out of Houston? He was damaged and flabby by the time he left Houston but didn’t realize or accept it...Morey made the decision to not resign him because he didn’t think Dwight was worth the money and looking at his next few years he was right. As soon as Dwight left, Houston’s offense became historically good.

he wanted to keep Capela but D’Antoni and Russ forced Moreys hand.
