Hollow Knight and PoP: Lost Crown are the most well rounded

Then Ori Will of The Wisps. Ori is strong in exploration and platforming but weaker in combat

Blasphemous is also good but the opposite of Ori, good with combat weaker with exploration and platforming, although i haven’t played the sequel

Blasphemous 2 is fire. It basically addressed every criticism of the first game.

That being said the game reminds me a lot of the Ori series in terms of its use of colors and tone.

Game looks great, studio has somee incredibly talented artists. Gameplay is good enough. Reminds me of Ori.

Ori is far from the peak of the genre. Guacamelee, Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Bloodstained, Blasphemous >>>> Ori.
Those are all action games mostly focused on combat with RPG/soulslike elements

Ori is a pure platformer with very little combat.

This game is more a narrative driven, walking simulator type experince.(Gris was, i’m assuming this game is the same)

They are all 2D sidescrollers but they all fall under very different Genres
