In my own league.
It seems like no matter what facts I throw at my parents as to why the Clintons will be the destruction of Black Americans yet again (they are Baby Boomers), they still support Hillary.
I asked them exactly WHY they are voting for Hillary or why they are supporting her and they don't have an answer.
I tell them why I am voting for a particular candidate and when I hear their lack of reasoning, I almost feel like the Black Baby Boomers have Stockholm Syndrome. Subconsciously they know she's no good and she's pretty much a Republican man in a skirt, but for some reason they don't care.
That way of thinking is dangerous to us Generation Y and our children into the future because I believe that people my parent's age should think in terms of, "What if I was in my 20's or 30's nowadays, HOW would I vote? How would this vote effect my children and my grandchildren and generations ahead of me?"
Like some of you said, Hillary is in it for HILLARY and preserving her legacy and continuing the Clinton legacy American citizens be damned, it's not about YOU with her. Somebody even pointed out that in her past speeches, she would only talk about what she would do by using "I" instead of "we" and she has been one of the most inconsistent politicians in recent years flip flopping from one point and then change it to another. I don't even think Hillary knows who she is. She just says whatever will get her liked. I don't like candidates like that.
Anyways, I don't think Baby Boomers need to vote in their best interest because their days are long gone, they need to think in the best interest of their children and grandchildren otherwise this country is socially and politically f_cked beyond repair (it already is like that actually, this country will never go back to the days where Baby Boomers in their 20's got to experience what a middle class was really like).
