religion is a safety blanket for humans. it is, ironically, a biological/evolutionary tool to help us understand things beyond our understanding.

humans have been around for tens of thousands of years and developed and lost thousands of creation and destruction myths.

the abrahamic one has the benefit of humanity's most incredible invention -- writing.

there's nothing wrong with religion, in and of itself. the problem comes from when people think of religion as FACT rather than FAITH.

Other things you shouldn't do with religion:

• Read Scripture without knowing the history of those times.
• Read Scripture without having the actual translations and context definitions of the verses.

Otherwise, you get the shytshow we have today.
