When i went to my neighbors funeral, woman who didn't have much of a family, me and my brother were pallbearers and she had no coffin. It was just a sheet over her. One of the other pallbearers made a joke about her agreeing with something her son said because she was "shaking her head" (you could see her shake from being carried without a coffin)
Hurt my heart to hear that.

wow! this is why im getting cremated! i know my family would cheap out on that coffin

i mean... i dont blame them. you only see the damn thing for a few minutes anyway.

but you would think they would carry them by holding the bottom...

i would want my funeral to be fun, though. have my friends and family show up and have a party, send me off right
