Man did what Jeremy Lin did now he better than Wade? Crazy 2way players always minimized vs iso-scorers...

Harden aint never been on Wade level. It's easy to play 1 on 1 at the top...defenders cants stop shyt and fouls called for help defender...padding stats....some thing don't make sense
:childplease:

It's easy to lurk for a showboating block per game alongside Shaq or Bron to get called "two way" if you don't have to worry about playmaking for your whole team and scoring at an MJ level but only have to score at a regular All Star level

Let me know you don't realize they actually track assists so that they can be measured and compared breh

Harden scores and assists 2.7 points and 1.6 assists more per game for his career while Wade only averages 0.3 blocks more per game, the thing he's most praised for as a sign of him being a "two way" player. They average the same amount of steals too.

All Wade's other two-wayness is just unsubstantiated reputation fed by the so called "eye test". He lucky Shaq and Bron liked sunshine basically.

This thread was bumped for no reason. Harden has done nothing of note lately for this thread to be bumped. Two or three very high Harden offensive regular seasons in a Mike Dantoni offense in a higher paced era, don’t erase Wades impact. The gap between their offensive numbers isn’t as big as the gap between their defensive impact. In Wades prime, he was a top end league scorer in a slower paced era. He led the league in scoring despite running into Kobe and LeBrons prime usage offensive years. Wade also Had high annual assist numbers(lead his teams in assists), was a decent passer, and was a decent enough rebounder at his position, while being a top end defender in the league as well. Harden has never had a high impact defensive season, while Wade has had seasons where he was literally the best scorer in the league amongst other all time great scorers, and was one of the best defenders in the league at his position. And when you factor in post season, Hardens offensive numbers and Wades offensive numbers have even less of a gap with both players putting up identical stat lines for whole playoff runs. Wade is just the better player when you aren’t swept up in Hardens 3 great reg season years in Houston. You can talk about Wade playing with Bron, but part of what made those Heat team great, was the fact that the big 3 were 3 TWO-way players. The heats calling card wasn’t just their offense, it was their defense. Hardens post season ceiling was never gonna be further than it was, when you can’t replicate or maintain your regular season offensive numbers, while ceding defensive impact. Kudos to harden for putting up all time bumpers in a Mike Dantoni system(a system that has made other player prior to him into MVPs) but Cmon….:mjlol:

This is wild. :dead:
I guess all defensive selections are awarded via carefully crafted ESPN highlight reels. Some pro-wade conspirators and voters watched an And1-esque mixtape of wades chase down blocks and decided he was a solid defender, while they screwed over poor harden and gave him a bad defensive rep, because they “just don’t know ball”. :dead:

Honestly, Wade is actually an underrated defender, because you ppl(and I meant that how it sounded) only limit his impact to his great shot blocking highlights, while it was more than just chase down block highlight ESPN reels. His help defense is what made those interim pre-Bron/post-Shaq Heat teams better than they should’ve been and it’s what made those Big 3 teams reach their defensive ceilings. 3-two-way players. :yeshrug:

Harden literally played with DPoy level players like Dwight Howard, two way players like CP3. And from an offensive standpoint, he played in a DAntoni offensive system. But you wanna talk about some “Wade is lucky Bron and Shaq love sunshine” :dead:

Oh brother….:snoop:

With all due respect, this post is retarded, considering Wades best offensive and highest usage season coincided with one of his best defensive seasons and one of 3 of his all-NBA defensive selections, this was 2009 in the post-Shaq/pre-LeBron Heat era. Wade carried Miami on both ends that season. Wade lead the league in scoring in 2009, while being selected to the defensive 2nd team. Only Kobe kept him from being defensive 1st team. KOBE BRYANT! One of the best perimeter defenders at the two-guard is the only thing that kept him from first team. For one of the other two years during Wades prime where he didn’t make all-NBA defense, he literally had season defining shoulder surgery. Y’all just say shyt, thinking we’ve never watched basketball and can’t call yall out on bullshyt. Dude who bumped this thread is just a bron stan who’s triggered by Heat fans being loyal to wade for some reason. :dead:
