Never Forget is a series of threads where you and I - your host, Taadow - revisit hits that people may have forgotten were hits. But nah - no hits left behind.

Today:

"Young'n" was the second hit Fab had, kept the momentum after "Can't Deny It" -
yet - when I typed "Fabolous You" in to the search bar, "Young'n" was the seventh thing...

To this day, the only Fab song I genuinely enjoy.

That 2-way shot always gets me :mjlol: You can tell an artist by little shyt like that. Fab always trying to be trendy. And what's trendy today will be lame tomorrow. But what's deep today will be deep tomorrow.

also, the nikka had Pharrell and Timbaland out the gate, when they were the biggest things ever. Must have taken him a minute to recoup on that.

Fab had some of the worst beats on those first couple albums...I still can bang some of them joints though like Cant Deny It.

It was a different time. lol

Like - this was the era where you got a Timbaland, Neptunes, & Rick Rock track on your albums
just to say you got beats on the album from them. Rappers had to think, "whatever - I can make it hot..."

all 3 of them had bangers and certified hits though...but yeah sometimes people got a throwaway and just had to make use of the name on their shyt
