Why are people talking shyt about the Warriors in this thread. They had an opportunity to get even better as a franchise, why wouldn't they take it? :dahell:

Guilty by association.

Kevin Durant is the target.

No one hated Wade, Bosh, and the Miami Heat until Lebron came to town - except Mav's fans and their :duck: about Wade and the nba refs.

So I think the Warriors should embrace their role as the biggest NBA villains of all time.

I don't really remember the Bulls recruiting Shaq, Ewing and Chuck to join Chicago during their run. Is that something you could see Jordan and nem doing? :stopitslime:

I was born in 94. I'm too young to remember any of that...so it's irrelevant for me. You can be mad at KD for leaving his team but it's completely irrational to hate on an organization for bettering itself.

If after we swept the Magic in 96 after winning 72 games and we had enough cap space to sign Shaq, I highly doubt MJ would've stopped Phil from meeting with him.

He wouldnt have needed to, thats the point. Never came into consideration. No one in the Bulls org was thinking hey lets just recruit our biggest rivals to come join our big happy family! :krs: Nah they were thinking lets beat those mfs.

:mjpls: DAMN sure wasnt actively recruiting his rivals

I'm soft because I don't find any fault with an organisation taking the steps to better itself? If you want to be mad at anyone...be mad at KD. But literally makes no sense to hate on a team for improving itself. Isn't that what the front office is supposed to do?You're being illogical here :dwillhuh:

"Steph is overrated."

"Draymond sucks hes not an all star."

"This team won because everybody they played was injured."

"If this was the 90's....."

*KD signs to warriors*

This.

There isn't a single team in the league that wouldn't take a marketable star who makes their team better

No doubt that you and fanboys like you care WAY more about the rivalry than the Bulls organization does. No doubt they would take a star in a heartbeat if he made the team better.

I can imagine you as a GM, "I don't give a crap about wins or revenue, I want THE RIVALRY!"

Said no GM ever.

Those guys are stupid as hell - there isn't a single team in the league that wouldn't take a marketable star who makes their team better

You're a moron. No doubt that you and fanboys like you care WAY more about the rivalry than the Bulls organization does. No doubt they would take a star in a heartbeat if he made the team better.

I can imagine your dumb ass as a GM, "I don't give a crap about wins or revenue, I want THE RIVALRY!"

Please list all the rivals Jordan actively tried to recruit while playing against them. Please list all the instances of any all-time great doing so before this soft-ass millennial generation came along.

Until then you and your corny strawman statements can go sit down someone. Moron.

I dont know what way you think it'll be but nobody that knows ball respects this. I asked people today how many ships they think Golden State will win and they said to the effect of "who cares, they wont mean shyt"

and God help em if they dont even win :dead:

You're right, back then players knew their place and did exactly what the man on top told them.
