Monaco is really the only good song on his latest album.

In my opinion, YHLQMDLG is his peak.

But in recent years he's been getting away from his trap/reggaeton roots, and making these softer pop songs, and in this most recent album it's pretty much all soft pop songs. That's why I think fans aren't turning out AS MUCH for his tour now, though he's still doing well.

If you go back to his days with J Balvin, Farruko and Arcangel, that's a different artist than the guy who makes songs now.

Cap. This latest album went back to his trap roots.

And it looks like the tour is doing fine. I just don’t think they sold it out right away, but the first three shows were packed.

Well I don't necessarily fault a guy for evolving as an artist.

It's hard to rap about the hood if you no longer live in the hood. It's hard to sing about high school romance if you're 25 and married. You know what I mean?

I'm just saying that as an artist grows, they change a little and they might lose certain fans. But they also might gain new ones.

nah. He new album is literally mostly trap shyt. He even shaved his head to go back to his “trap era aesthetic.”

But I think it’s a set up for the next album. He might go full pop :lupe:

It was a joke!
Idk, I'm from Miami, all that stuff from the islands, English/Patois and Spanish sounds alike; dancehall, Latin trap, bachata, same difference

If I wanted to kind of understand a mf talking about sex, I'd go outside :skip:
