This is dope.
Meanwhile Pepsi is north Westchester county, white as it getsthere is no morality among corporations. only allegiance to shareholders.
my assumption would be, because coke is headquartered in atlanta, and deeply embedded within the city's business community, the backlash would be devastating.
apart from that, black people do not need to remain loyal to any one brand based off of past history. when the republican party went after southern dixiecrats, we changed our affiliation to the democratic party. when target, pepsi, walmart and the like, spit in our face after years of support, there should've been a mass movement of disaffiliation. but we have no core leadership, so we get tossed around like a dried cumrag.

It's also preferred by more people, it is what it is. Anybody that's ever worked in food will let you know most times if they ask what drinks you have they're asking if you have Coke. Nobody asks for Pepsicoke is literally more expensive
Wow the irony

Corporations only answer to customers and shareholders . They are amoral, neutral by nature and usually wishy-washy fencesitters/bandwagoners/frontrunners, they will side with the dominant zeitgeist in order to pander, remain socially acceptable, and make money. Typical public relations bullshyt. You should never trust them to stand tall on principles. When they sense that a cause is too unpopular to openly support, they will drop it like it’s hot, fold under pressure and pretend that they never put financial and moral support behind that cause ever. Then they will lay low and wait until the next trendy cause to bandwagon and profit off it.
They always change their minds exactly when the cultural vibes shift to either the right or left because they desire to protect their brand and please as many people as possible. They got a spider sense for it. They know when to get out of it at the right time. That’s because they don’t want to lose any potential demographic of customers. They’re literally political, social and cultural weathervanes who follow the direction of the blowing wind.
They were never sincere and did all that posturing to look good in front of the medias. Supporting the popular causes of the moment just to avoid backlash and get on the good graces of the masses is not revolutionary and sincere. Corporate people hate to take huge social, financial and political risks anyway. They don’t want to piss off shareholders and lose customers.
Never trust them to do the right thing out of pure honesty and kindness of heart. There are always hidden motives and self interests behind their public relations game and their symbolic gestures, words and actions. Corporations are the original bothsiders, they keep it safe at all times, they only care about themselves, their profits, their brands, their image/reputation and their own survival at the end of the day.
At my grandparents it was between Pepsi and RC.Literally all of the old folks in my family drank pepsi.
