Never realized how terrible Jamie Foxx is as an actor until

But he was GREAT in The Soloist.

I think he chose too many roles that didnt require him to dig deep and actually act.

Other than that, Cant take jamie foxx serious, especially when he’s not wearing shades.

Yeah, I wouldn’t even say he was that good in Django, it was just all around good casting and cinematography, writing, etc. but to say Foxx was a standout in comparison to the support around him would be untrue...

Samuel L. outshined him and he had a lesser role. Samuel portrayed what I think may be the biggest black villain in history.

I’d give him that but to be honest he trained next to Ray for a while before they did that film. And, like someone said early, it’s an impersonation, Foxx is good at that...

only way a movie about Ray Charles wasn’t gonna win an Oscar is if it had a major flaw or too much mediocrity thru out the production...
