Yeah, I'd stay the hell away from English dubs. Even the ones I've heard people rave about fall completely flat compared to the original Japanese voice acting.

I recommend you watch Redline a futuristic racing anime flick that took about 8 years to make and it shows. One of the most beautiful animation I've ever seen in my life. It's over the top ass fukk.



Also watch Sword of the Stranger, some top notch action there.
