These are all anime's I would recommend for someone just starting out. They're all dope,relatively short, and aren't corny like many anime's out there.
Yu Yu Hakusho is the longest but IMO is the best one by a small margin. It also has the best english dub out of any anime I've seen. Bebop also has a good english dub.

Yep. 100,000 hand made drawings. They were going go IN to make the shyt look real good.
The problem I have with subs is I have no idea what they're saying so there's a disconnect. If I don't know what they're saying, I sure as hell can't tell if the acting's any good. The voices are sometimes better but give me Troy Baker's Pain over any Japanese voice actor any day.
There's only been one English voice actor I've absolutely hated and actually stalled me on a series. I never got the whole subs vs dub thing for the reasons I gave. I almost didn't watch Attack on Titan cause I prefer dubs but figuring I'd be spoiled, I watched it and now I'm interested to see what happens with the dub.

I'll check it out, although after watching about 3 episodes of trigun I think I like "darker" animes, instead of comedic ones lol some of the jokes haven't translated so well at times
