1.4 billion people live in China, more than 4:1 compared to here.

That's a lot of manpower and resources for both blue and white collar work at the end of the day.

Great question, but would Be impossible to find out. China fudges most of their negative metrics and exagerates their positive ones.


You could probably do an indirect analysis. Im picturing something similar to when an US investment bank doesnt trust productivity figures given by a chinese firm, so rather than looking at their financials ; they instead look at the amount of trucks showing up on their loading dock or how many orders their periphery industries have imported from reputable foreign firms to gauge how much REAL production a chinese company has.


In a similar sense you could judge the cancer prevalence of chinese workers based on the amount of Western cancer pharmaceuticals being imported from reputable foreign firms like J&J or Pfizer to get an indeirect estimate of how many people suffer from cancer in China. Similarly, you can scan satelite footage at cancer institutes near factory areas, and compare their visible entrants vs a similar scene in pitsburgh or detroit or mobile alabama.
