while the space jam release back in 2009 was the first release that was crazy and had people camping out

WATTBA I walked through 1.5 miles in knee high snow from my apartment to a spot in Zona Rosa in KC cause they plowed a mountain of snow behind my car . my guy put a pair of 10.5s to the side for the kid. I damn near got frostbite but it was worth it. I've maybe wore them joints 15x in 13 years. Might offload them hoes soon tho or just keep'em for sentimental reasons

Jordans are far from played out...but definitely oversaturated.

The sneaker game got boring.
I was an avid dunk & jordan collector back in the 2000s. Had almost 100 pairs of kicks.
Then as time passed on, I had sold or gave away damn near all of them.

After the first time Nike SB took the fat tongue out of the dunk lows around 2008 that's when I stopped caring about Nike SB. Completely stopped buying SBs by 2010. Then I graduated college, moved to NYC took my sneaker collection, and ended up buying mostly Vans

I own a few pairs of Nikes now. The rest of my sneaker collection is varied since i sold the vast bulk of them. I have 40 pairs now and for me...thats a low amount.

Vans
Puma
Reebok
Fila
Diamond Supply co
DC shoes
Es Footwear
Etnies
Emerica
Axion
And some boots and high end stuff.

I just focus on what I like instead of chasing hyped releases.

shyt… I got replica Yeezy Boosts on the way as we speak. fukk retail. Whether they’re reps or retail, they’re all made in the same factories over in China. From the actual shoe to the box, you literally can not tell the difference between quality reps and retail.

You can buy the same exact shoe for $30-$70. This applies to virtually all clothing and fashion. Watches and accessories too. Many celebrities and influencers (and their stylists) are doing the EXACT same thing, but most people aren’t aware.
