I got a cousin who's 6'5" and we used to ball when we were kids... In high school he stopped playing b-ball for volleyball :dahell:

The breh is a whole fukking waste of height. I remember encouraging breh to stick with bball so he can make the NBA... Or shyt , at least them other professional leagues or even overseas.

He's just an example but whenever I run into these extra tall Kevin Durant lanky ass nikkas in public and they just walking around like regular ol ordinary ass civilians , I can't help but just look at em like :scust:

What a waste... This when I realize father's are important in young boys lives :martin:

Not understand people not doing work they dont love brehs

Be unmotivated by a chance to make millions of dollars playing a fukking game brehs... That's how I read it.

Some of the most trash players are being offered millions of dollars to essentially play defense and catch a rebound now and again... A lot of brehs get drafted simply cuz they tall AF. If that ain't enough motivation idk what is. Imagine if Shaq (who can't shoot for shyt) stuck to rapping instead of balling. You can be tall and just good at one aspect of the game, and dominate.

I know nikkas think grass is greener, and it is in certain regards.

But height comes with more injury risk and nikkas think playing organized sports is the same as playing pickup at the gym, it's not.

shyt is straining on your body and if you make it to the college level without some type of chronic joint pain you're blessed.

Patella tendonitis was when I realized playing sports for a living wasn't for me. And I quit after high school, but I still suffer from it to this day almost 10 years later.

Then comes skill set, I'm 6'7 but I played the 5 my whole life. That's a good size at the high school level, but once you get past that, you're expected to have additional skills outside of setting screens, finishing at the basket from a drop-step, and boxing out/rebounding.

I had a few D3 offers in the middle of nowhere, but if I want to play at a higher level school I would have to make forming a better dribble/jump shot/conditioning my full-time job (with overtime) just to maybe play at a D1 school.

Like I said playing sports for a living is different from recreation sports, it really takes most of the fun out of the experience.
