Song sounds a bit weird to me, flow wise, seems a bit out of place for P. Rhymes don't seem to be dropping in the best places. Some parts seem fine but others seem a bit awkward, might need to grow on me. Like the beat....

Edit: Growing on me already, but some of the points I said still feel that way.

I know the nikka was never big on actually rhyming.. but goddamn damn near none of these bars rhyme at all. :scust:

Dude was a pioneer of slant rhyming and having wierd structures to his verses

I'm not gonna lie and say it's easy to hear cuz sometimes it sounds like he's not at the end of his bars. But there's rhymes In between

Him and freeway rhyme different

:ohhh:
What is the title a reference to?

It refers to this basic idea:

Our Civilization moves through a process in which every action/idea (thesis) is followed by an equal but opposite reaction (antithesis). This interaction leads to a compromise in the core truths of these opposing ideas.(synthesis). The synthesis lays the foundation for a new thesis. Which began the process all over again. This cyclical process is what keeps the wheels of history/politics/society/social movements/ etc turning.

Heres an example:

The Underground/Backpacker HipHop movement of the early 00s was the antithesis to the commercial/pop/southern rap style that was at the forefront of the genre at that time.

The synthesis of these two movements would be modern HipHop. With many new school artists such as Kendrick lamar, A$AP Rocky, J. Cole, and Odd Future having clear stylistic influences from both movements.

:whoo:

Jesus that album title tho.

Prodigy a philosophy/History Nerd?

:ohhh:
P's always low key sort of been heavy into the history stuff and also a conspiracy theorist.

Pretty cool song. I wonder who produced it. I'd love to see Sid Roams back in action on this new album.

I always enjoy P rapping about conspiracy stuff. This kinda reminds me of HNIC 2, which is an underrated album. Lot of conspiracy joints on there.

this beat twas :whew: who produced it..?

P Double back on his awakened/"conspiracy" shyt..best shyt i heard bar wise from him in a minute..

I looked around trying to find the producer. Can't find anything so far. It doesn't really remind me of any of the usual suspects. Not Havoc, not Alchemist, not Sid Roams, not Jake One...I'll post a reply when I figure out who did it.

Two of the most original rappers ever.

People that hate on Freeway at least have to admit the dude is one of the most original rappers to ever do it. I can't take him for long stretches but I've always liked his style.
