Final tracklists for AEOM were put togehter in late December/early January; "Late Night" with AMG and Quik was cut right at the end.
The producers and other people also tried to claim it was only recorded Augest, but everything debunks that from dated tracklists to working DATs to reels to the lyrics in "Lost Souls". I agree, not everything is perfect, but it's still more trustworthy than the artist/producers memory.
I would believe that if one artist or producer had that memory, but multiple artist and producers?i dont know how reel dates work, but do they change everytime anybody touches it?if so i could see the date being outside of what the main people involved consider being the period they worked on the album.
If we disregard the dates/reels, we might as well disregard any evidence. The majority of the acapellas are also listed on a cassette dated 7/26/96.
?or the dates was changed for other reasons as far as changes being made....u would have to believe its a conspiracy among multiple people to pretend these albums were made in 3 days,or two weeks in the case of aeom, and thats not even a selling point of aeom.I just think to think that multiple people wouldnt know the difference between 3 days and months,or two weeks and months,on multiple occasions is far fetched....so either i can believe maybe the dates arent as accurate since its not medical records we talkin about here?or the dates was changed for other reasons as far as changes being made....u would have to believe its a conspiracy among multiple people to pretend these albums were made in 3 days,or two weeks in the case of aeom, and thats not even a selling point of aeom.

...if people were coming back and fukkin with songs its possible that COULD result in a change of dates,u never know.

Well usually the dates are written at the precise time of the events in question, and the producers/artists are contradicting it.
20 reels, multiple DATs, cassettes and tracklists all being wrongly dated is even more far-fetched.
Nobody has ever questioned thier version of events in an interview, maybe if somebody did they might backtrack.
Anyway, Frank Alexander claimed he had footage of the Makaveli sessions before he died, so if it's ever released and dated we have an answer.

Potentially his last recording in acapella...
