Prolly my least favorite thing about this whole internet/twitter/blog era...this sense that we're constantly in a state of forced artificial anticipation for EVERYTHING...every song, video, intervivew has to be hyped and drawn out for long as they possibly can do it...the teaser for the behind the scenes a week before the video is released.....announcing a song days ahead of time...then leaking the cover art a day or two after that...then the barely audible radio rip...then finally the goddamn muh'fukking song a couple hours later
in reality, it really aint even all that serious..
theres penty of other things the average person could be doing, than sitting around waiting for music.. especially if they got tons more music, which they probly havent even fully digested yet.. so, sitting around waiting.. or remotely getting irritated it doesnt drop- is moot..
fans are too choosy, and dont seem to really appreciate what they get for free anyways..

Very true. Albums are getting pushed back now simply because the hype before the hype isn't where they think it should be. It was much easier when you just got release dates and a street single.
Also you can find out about albums more than a full year before they even get recorded. It's easy to get expectations too high.
It ain't that serious, but this is still an underrated post.
