This is what politicians always say but it's never going to happen. It's just another campaign promise. In a capitalist society profit motive is king so when the corporations own our elected officials and are effectively writing their own legislation now why should they suddenly decide to work against their own interests? This is probably the biggest problem with the establishment right now
