New Arcadium Mod (Vote Now [poll added and closes Monday at 9:40am])

@Ciggavelli i think we have a list of nominees already. Just put the poll up and don't allow votes until next week (Or maybe put the names in the OP).
People are supposed to be nominating other users, not incoherently whining about nonsense. Maybe when the names go up it'll motivate people to start to name people they feel are missing. If they don't let a nominee they won't vote for them. Simple as that. I suspect hearts will be broken and titangraphs will be written regardless of the outcome. It's the same every year with the goat and what tags.

A person from every side of the Arcadium. Let the votes decide. Personally I'm still not even sold that more mods is the answer but I respect the process and am cool with whatever the Arcadium decides for itself.

Tally up how many people said we dont need an extra mod at all.. pretty sure thats the more popular vote in here.. whats the point of nominating people if we dont even need another mod

Its a nomination. In the end the votes will decide. A nomination is nothing to get upset about. (None of this is to be honest. Its just a forum). I picked on person from each area of the arcadium.

I know the remaining people here may scoff at me being a mod, but here is my argument.

First and foremost I'm not a bytch ass nikka. My moderation will not be driven by my own personal feelings and emotions.

My only motivation will be making this the best Tech site on the web for people of our persuasion

Notice I said TECH and not just games. After the split from TFR this place turned into strictly gaming and we lost allot of traffic due to that. I'd like to get back to some topics about non-gaming stuff.

Also a big importance is keeping the sticky section updated and engaging. We need a set system of official threads, and the amount of time they should stay stickied. This random system of whatever thread the mods decide to sticky as the OP stifles conversation. If we have multiple threads on the same topic then they get merged/moved then we missed out on a lot of conversational synergy.

And the official threads need to be well crafted with complete and accurate info. This is one thing we should borrow from neogaf. If you are gonna make an OT put some effort into it.

Lastly I understand trolls/stans/fukkery are a big part of our community. I will make no effort to curb that stuff, in fact I encourage it. Talk your shyt, just don't do it in officially sanctioned threads, bans will be prompt and permanent for trolling in official threads.

That's what I feel is the best direction for this forum to go in. If I'm chosen as a mod I will make my best effort to make it a reality.
