Yeah…
I don’t think the Thunderbolts are going to make it out of Avengers: Doomsday alive. Yelena’s line about dying felt like something people will circle back to once Doomsday drops.
We'll see. For the record, I like Pugh—I've been a big fan of hers since Fighting with My Family—and I really like Yelena as a character too. That line just stood out to me in a way that made me think it might be a callback later on, which the MCU is known for.i don't think so.
pugh is loved and a rising star and a good actress and is british.

Crazy when you consider the fact that most people hate him because he isn't Steve Rogers. Another white man.Cacs are really pushing the narrative that Disney. Is forcing people to hate U.S. Agent because he’s a straight white man lol.
Boi the discourse around movies and video games are cooked.
The thing people don't appreciate with the street level heros is the higher potential for better fight choreo. One thing this movie has made me realize is that the synergy era with the comics and other media is over. Yelena is the lead in this movie and she's still just as, if not more irrelevant in the comics as nat is actually thriving. And then there's carol. She was pushed in everything for a while. But with her not being in the starting roster for rlmarvel rivals, and including phyla vell over her in that new marvel beat em up, it seems the experiment is over.
As for the movie. I liked it. The team is off balanced as fukk(3 super soldier variants, ghost, and a spy are are street level, then Bob is well known to be broken beyond all belief.) If this was a covert team, that would great. But as an avengers squad they're gonna need some buffing. Moonstone, mach, or songbird would be great additions to this potential team. As it is, eh.
That's more the lack of creativity on the production and directos side. The thing people don't appreciate with the street level heros is the higher potential for better fight choreo.
Cap vs Bucky >>>> than someone making wiggly hand gestures and red lights flashing on the screen.
More powerful doesn't equal more entertaining. Thats why they always have to nerf the OP characters.
More limitation than imagination. You can't do an impressive hand to hand combat sequence with Galactus. So they have to nerf him or find so weird solution in order to defeat him (or just let him win) But none of that is ever as satisfying as people punch and kicking each other in the face. That's more the lack of creativity on the production and directos side.
