I actually saw MidSommer a few days ago. It caught my eye for some reason then watched 40 mins of it.

I realized later it was Florence. I don’t know if I like her. I didn’t enjoy her performance in Dune 2. Outlaw King.

I guess she was cool in Black Widow.

I guess I really don’t like her face, plus she’s very somber.

She should make or break the movie though. The creatives attached to it plus it being grounded might make it a day one for me.

I mean it least it doesn't look cheap and thrown together like most post-Endgame MCU products and seems to rely more on practical effects.

My biggest beefs with MCU stuff in general is weak writing and visuals that are too streamlined and bit boring at worst. There are exceptions like the Guardians films, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War. This won't be weighed down by multiverse bullshyt and has some likable characters like Bucky and the guy from Stranger Things (I never watched Black Widow, sorry ScarJo). Not expecting a masterpiece but Marvel needs a strong 8/10 film that isn't leaning on nostalgia.
