That’s where I’m at with it, too. For a movie that practically had a subtitle of “who asked for this?” attached while in development, I had a lot of fun with it. Guardians is my favorite post-Endgame flick from Marvel but this one is up there.

It also just felt good to watch something from them on the big screen that didn’t reek of constant reshoots and half-assed writing.
casting matters, MCU was at its best when it was acing the casting piece. Florence is awesome and can carry weight. It really helps these movies. The rest of the cast did well too and then you have your heavy weights do the heavy lifting (Florence in this one)

yeah it was fun. it just worked well. everything meshed. didnt have to force connections to everything else (the post credit was perfect though). the pacing was great.

again, very impressed with Florence Pugh, she has a very natural way of delivery and it works very well in this world

first time in a while Im optimistic about the MCU, hopefully F4 delivers and they are setting up for some big wins with Doom on the way

Yeah, Pugh’s fantastic (and fine as shyt). Best get for them post-Endgame, arguably. The first minute alone had me :picard:

That’s when I knew this was gonna hit different.

Just saw this was pretty good, way better than Brave New World, Guardian and US Agent were the highlights and that boy Sentry aint nothing to play with he’s a cheat code, copped the limousine popcorn collectible,

IDK if this a Spoiler but whole theater was like :damn::damn::damn::damn::huhldup::huhldup::huhldup::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:
When the little girl got clipped

that said with the power scale thing
Doom is gonna Kill Sentry to show how big a deal he is, or they gonna do his ass like Hulk where he is in Bob mode when shyt counts. IDK much about the actor so if he is gonna be a thing then they may just make him Bob and use him for cosmic threats in the future here and there

t-dot till they bury me
Just finished
This shyt was :wow:
this was clearly a Yelena movie with supporting characters
Man, Florence was so :noah: to me in this. Like in Hawkeye, Black Widow she was kinda meh looking...but everytime she was on screen, i was :whoo:
Red Guardian is getting annoying...just a big goof
Taskmaster :damn:
Bucky, Ghost, Walker were just there, served their purpose
Yelena :noah:
But man, Bob/Sentry/Void....loved the character. The actor did a great job
The fight scene in the watchtower was great
Who can beat Sentry? Power is scale :damn:
Voids design was :leon: those beady light pupils
Yelena:noah:
The after credits
We sure it's Reed and em in that ship? :usure:
Yelena :noah:

Movie was cool. Nothing really bad but nothing really stands out either. Rather would’ve watched this on tv.

Like that it was a nice and contained plot. Not too many moving parts
Like that each member is no longer just a superhero/villain name. They're actual characters
Still don’t care about Fontaine.
How Fontaine managed to brainwash Sentry was a little lame and convenient

7/10.

I really liked Thunderbolts and glad it met expectations. A lot more grounded . Outside of the usual quips with Red Guardian, the script was a different tone in a good way, kind of similar to how GOTG3 told a solid and cohesive story. Yelena's on-screen presence was great in providing a connection of the underlying theme. Thought Ghost was just going to essentially be a throw-in, but the entire rag-tag team was developed and brought together well.

:mjlol: at making Taskmaster a jobber.
That post credit scene got me hype for July :banderas:
I wonder how much within that 14 month gap will get played out in the next Avengers film. Seems like they'll need to tell the story some if Sam has already recruited "The Avengers" by the time F4 arrive.
