AZ is one of my all time favorites. He has one of the best catalogs IMO, the only stuff he dropped I didn't really like was Legendary and that G.O.D. Mixtape but mostly because the beats were trash. If the production is on point on doe or die 2 it should be solid

dont get me wrong, the record sales fan boys are gonna catch some lols off the epic brick this will inevitably be but AZ is one of the nicest to ever do it so the people who d/l it will be off this piff for a while.

And I havent really listened to an AZ album since Undeniable which, admittedly wasnt great. On every track Ive heard him on since then hes sounded official tho so Im anticipating heat.

tryna tell these dudes. I bought an AZ album back in the day on a whim just because I recognized him from Nas' shyt and was like iight why not and since then I been to AZ. Gotta give him a chance when his shyt drops.

I hope this album lives up to the name. I hate the trend of making sequels ~10 years after the original dropped, especially when it's by far the best work of your career. It sets such a high level of expectations.

I agree with this. It seems like after Rae had success with OBFCL2 everyone started doing sequels. It doesn't really make sense unless you are doing them consecutively like jay did with in my lifetime vol 1,2 and 3. Ultimately I just want good music so hopefully AZ comes through but I do think the sequel thing is wack
