I wouldn’t get those for my son. I’ll say that much. This is probably going to sound so bougie but I always thought new balance were for white boys and people who couldn’t afford the more fashionable sneakers like Jordan, Lebron, Nike—all the brands I get for my son. I see white kids in new balance.

That's how it used to, no different than Van's. Van's were always some cheap skateboarder shoes. Now everybody wear them, almost. Even Pumas was some cheap none fashionable shoes, but people are messing with their new styles. Where I'm from you only wore Nike's, Reebok's, or Adidas along with Polo Boots.
