I'm going to be in the minority here, but this doc highlighted Cosby as a pioneer. Touching on achievements, I personally had no idea about.

The doc also points to the massive mysoginistic culture at the time. And how plenty of white men engaged in similar appalling behavior.

I'm not one to hold those acts against Bill, especially when he was operating within a machine that was complicit in it.

What I'm taking away from this show was that Cosby was truly a pioneer that should be celebrated more

People don’t want to accept that their idols are devils. I’ve stated on this site more than once that women had been speaking out on him for decades and no one cares because he was making everyone around him rich. There are memoirs from famous women who have stories about Cosby, Sinatra, the crazy music mogul who shot a woman in his house, and no one cared. People want to stick to their belief that women deserve to be assaulted or harmed and speaking out just leads to more ridicule.
