Nobody aside from the MTV producers asked Marlon Waynes to host though. Audience members and viewers who just wanted to see their favourite artists getting their awards have the right to not enjoy his material.

I do think the outrage is a but much though (aside from the clicking language jokes which are potentially very offensive).

I remember years ago when the Wayans hosted the MTV awards and everybody was saying how terrible & tasteless they were...but i thought it was the funniest shyt i ever seen, especially when they was clownin Macy Gray and making her squirm in her seat.

It was only tasteless, out of line and unfunny because they was hurting folks feelings... which the best, most effective comedy tends to do.

Probably the same situation here. The only people that seem to be butthurt are bloggers (based on the article).

Nothing is off limits when it comes to great comedy.
