[New BR] Hyper Scape (Ubisoft) (PC)

This pc only?
For now, Ubisoft is saying console in Fall.
Played about 2 hours. Game is wayyyy too fast pace. A lot of people getting in and not knowing what’s going on and before you know it you’re rushed down by 2-3 other teams. Gunplay is cool and reminiscent of Quake. The way they take away portions of the map is a cool twist on BRs. I think a more arena shooter catering mode would be better than having a focus on battle royal. They have 2 unannounced modes so we’ll see what they do with it.
I can’t see it competing long term against Apex, Fortnite, Call of Duty on the BR front.

it’s fun...but I don’t like how the guns “shoot” or sound
for example on COD the guns “feel” heavy and are loud
the game could do a better job of simulating gun action imo
gonna play it again tomorrow but on xbox and tinker with the settings more
I like it enough to play it some more and give it a better chance
for some reason the layout encourages me to play more aggressively which is different for me
usually with BR games I move more stealthily and try to refrain from combat unless I absolutely have to in order to last as long as I can...with this game I was active in looking for other players to kill
