I joined the Jeep Grand Wagonner Facebook group doing some research for a potential purchase…. And the amount of people saying they spent 100k plus on a JEEP is mind boggling.
Went through a similar experience when my girl was gung ho on getting a jeep wrangler. Had no idea how expensive Jeeps were. We rented one while on a vacation in Miami and felt the way that shyt drove on the highway and saw how spartan the interior was :picard:
I was able to talk her out of getting a Jeep and into a Lexus RX

What car can you get for under $2k in 2025? Most shyt boxes sell for 3-5k.
Maybe because I live in a big city, there are tons of sub $1k cars that have had neglect set in but can easily be saved with a days hard work and $200 in parts from Rockauto.

When did people stop buying fixer uppers and starter homes? When did people stop buying homes outside of the expensive areas? The hood still selling houses :yeshrug:

Same with cars. Remember we use to buy cars just to make it through the winter? Or at least get you from a to z. Now? Everyone thinks they suppose to have brand new.

These are self created problems.
starter homes where? Take a look around at new construction. that concept has died out. we not in the 2000s or 2010s anymore. Let me guess. move out to west bumblefukk for a more affordable home where you get to drive 2 hours in traffic everyday just to get to work

One you start reading these articles and actually look into buying cars and homes, you realize these articles aren’t even talking to you.

You have so many people saying they can’t afford a home because it costs $400,000, but when did people start thinking $400,000 was the norm? When did people stop buying fixer uppers and starter homes? When did people stop buying homes outside of the expensive areas? The hood still selling houses :yeshrug:

There are no "starter homes and fixer uppers" left because everyone decided they want to be a real estate mogul doing air bnb rentals and shytty quick flips

That "starter home" is now 3 to 4 times as much

The whole point of it all is to keep you working and supporting the system.
When it collapses you will accept whatever they offer you for relief.

The government knows what's going on. You have been indoctrinated from birth to stay within the system lines and shut up.

The central banks control everything you do with their money.

With the prevalence of the electronics in modern vehicles and how deeply integrated they are into the systems that a no from me moving forward forever. As buggy as software is, that shyt is fukking up cars left and right.......and the only people with the software is the dealership. ....... really are going to shut mufukkas shyt off with a key press coming soon.......its a reason the after market stereo eco system damn near extinct and it wasn't because car manufacturers wanted to give you a good system...........they figured out how to force that infotainment on you and steal your data and handicap the car......can't even remove that shyt.........

I’m not familiar with the west bumblefukk so I can’t speak on that. What I can speak on, is outside of certain areas, there are still homes for sale within reach of the average person. You may need to take a 30 minute car ride or a train to get to work, but it’s there.
