Looks like Genndy changed his mind on the anthology thing and wants to stay in the Spear universe, which I think is the best for the series overall. I never doubt Genndy but I don’t think the anthology thing would’ve been the best idea for the show

The Charles Darwin episode is actually really good, but character and story wise it’s hard to deny that Spear and Fang are two of his top tier creations. This could have also always been the plan but if he didn’t say it was a anthology this wouldn’t have been a surprise.

I like the idea of him fighting his way out of hell to help his daughter fight whatever that dark king nikka was that got him killed in the first place. Or something similar, cause clearly based off that Celtic cac's story people can be revived in this series and he looks undead or in some kind of spiritual light (green eyes and magic is a theme in this)

Cause yeah the way last season ended honestly that was basically a closing chapter on its own, but that underworld master villain nikka was a huge plot point and it seemed like he actively wanted to put spear down for some reason, cause I also remember them previewing him at the end of season one so he really is an over arching villain

I'm interested to see how this comes together, probably gonna need at least one more season, I wouldn't mind a world war of all these prehistoric, magical, and modern conventions
