What if they show a clip in the presentation of when they had the confederate flag face paint on? Will New Day still induct?
No, they will walk out when they see that since they had no idea the FF were :mjpls: since they've lived in a cave they whole lives.

:dahell:
Silver lining is I bet PS is heated :skip:
There's no silver lining, breh, this was probably PS's idea, he's not heated at all. He'll be :smugfavre: when it goes down, then pat them all on the head afterwards because they helped him get over among the black community and make people think he's not racist.

I hope someone here posts all the c00ntweets Sat night praising the Freebirds for having brothers induct them. We always gotta call them out like Tariq does :ld:

BACKSTAGE News on why New Day is Inducting the Freebirds into HOF

According to F4WOnline.com, The New Day inducting The Freebirds into the WWE Hall of Fame stems from a couple reasons, the first being that Michael Hayes is a big fan of the group.

Additionally, it was noted that WWE’s big babyface plan for The New Day has something to do with the group inducting the Freebirds. WWE hopes The New Day will come out of their WrestleMania 32 match against The League of Nations as full-fledged babyfaces.

A very immature way of looking at the situation. I seriously doubt they lobbied to do this, and you didn't see one word about other racists from their twitter. They're being forced to do this, so I don't see how they're c00ns for it.

We all know they work for racists, so let them eat.
no one is forced to do anything dude

they have no integrity if they do this

Mark my words, there's more than one reason they're turning them babyface after WM :mjpls::mjpls::mjpls:.

:rudy:

You're acting like they're introducing David Duke or some shyt. That's a very bold statement about dudes you don't know, with performance contracts and not simply employees that can sue for discrimination. They don't have a union, and can be cut or depushed for the smallest of things.

As said earlier, this isn't really a battle to stake their momentum on, and I wish people would stop forcing Black strangers to constantly fight their battles. I see Mike Jones praised and shyt on here :wtf:, but we're going to take all the integrity away from New Day having to do a disgusting job they may not even want to do.

Be homeless to make a very minute point brehs!!

I understand your frustration. But unlike 90 percent of the people here who understands but still disgusted, I don't know ow why you're using this to attack New Day, who has already gone above and beyond to be positive role models.

New Day getting a babyface push from this could open up other doors too. Big E now knows the spotlight and doesn't shrink anymore, which is what really messed up his first IC run. He could get another one, while also being in line to win the Big Belt as the second Black champion, from as over as he is. He's also a believable Lesnar opponent. It would be great for him, or Cesar to get that 1v1 win rub (if Roman doesn't beat them to it :comeon:).

But Xavier and Woods look like great tag team champions that could compete for the other belts as well. They may be doing Vince and Hayes a solid that we don't want, but the potential is there for sustainability. Hopefully, they made clear to Vince how much of a favor this is.

First off, I don't know why you're attempting to downplay Michael Hayes' racism by comparing him to Duke. He has a nasty history of racism and he doesn't deserve a pass for it. Secondly, the New Day are in a position of leverage here and should utilize like so many people in the past have in similar points of their career. For example, the Shield fought and convinced Vince to change the finish of their first PPV match. Within the past year and a half you've seen many women call out the WWE for their handling of the divas division.

So why should the New Day, one of their most over acts with a roster that is already depleted, do anything that they would feel uncomfortable with? Why should they honor a racist? They're clearly in a position to say no to something like this, especially when you consider that it would be a PR disaster had the WWE punished them in anyway for not wanting to honor a racist. New Day should man up and show some integrity by refusing to be the WWE's puppets, that simple.

Not trying to downplay it, just saying that is isn't that bad to wage a war over. I'm thinking they feel the same way. If anything, we'd wage the war for them. Can't we just let that be good enough, because us spreading the word, lets Cac's and others that don't know what's up find out about Michael Hayes. This would likely start a backlash.

New Day looks great as duck being the bigger men on this. Just spread the word on who PS is, and let it play itself out, so they'd have even more leverage. Again, we're likely much more upset about it than they actually are, but that's nothing on their integrity. It's just they work in that environment, and have seen a lot of people they like each shyt and draw needless heat and jobs. It's not that crucial and I'm very sure Big E and the rest have a strong relationship with Mark Henry, so they know what's up.

I'm conflicted :francis:

In the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter (dated today, May 19, 2008), Dave Meltzer notes that Michael Hayes made racist remarks towards Presidential hopeful Barack Obama. According to Meltzer Hayes said, “How can we have a President that can’t read the constitution?” and “If that boy gets elected, I’m moving to Canada.” Many within WWE questioned McMahon’s skit mocking Obama after Obama agreed to do Raw, despite knowing there was a risk of backfire if the Hayes story and his comments got out that week.
