80's LL Cool J, Rev Run, Erick Sermon, Slick Rick etc
90's Snoop, DMX, Jay Z, Nas, Meth etc
00's Luda, Jeezy, Kanye, Pusha, Fab etc
10's Big Sean, YG, KRIT etc
If it's just current artists it would be weak. This way appeals to everyone.
