You know, I thought Drag-On was pretty nice back then, and was cool to hear from him again after all these years, but there's quite a bit of revisionist history in here about his career. He had a massive buzz heading into his first album dropping, and then when his album dropped, he was basically stamped as a Memphis Bleek type dude. I'm not sure where this "legend" type stuff is coming from. He's about as legendary as Lil' Cease. Maybe nostalgia from the RR wave is in effect right now, but I think it's pretty comical. Sure, Ruff Ryders was a legendary crew, but not everybody involved should be considered legendary. Buff Bagwell was part of the NWO, but ain't nobody calling him a legend![]()
Lil Cease never killed Biggie on a record. DRAG-OAT has various records with DMX and The LOX where he has the best verse
That doesnt make you a legend. The word classic & legend gotta be the most overused words in Hip-hop these days.
And this is comin from a Ruff Ryders head btw. I fukk with Drag´s first album, even tho it wasnt THAT great IMO & probably didnt meet the expectations, but legend? Stop.
Why the fukk would he care about nikkas who listen to uzi vert, lil yacht, ect think.
Drag on just dragged this nikka....game a full sucka on these streets![]()
