This is one of the worst Ohio State defenses I can remember. Like you guys said already, the tackling in the back 7 was atrocious. The only good thing is that our pass rush finally showed up.

Hopefully things can get cleaned up because there is alot of talent.....

If Jeff Tedford was on the hot seat before today, he should be fired after this game. Why would he opt for a FG on 4th and less than 1 when his kicker had already missed 2 prior FGs from the same distance? Pushing forward for a 1st down there could have helped close out the game.

Both damn long runs by Cal came from tackles that should have been wrapped up for a minimal gain. I don't think it's a recurring problem because usually these guys can wrap up. Just a bad game from them. Can't do that against Michigan St.

Yeah we're still making small mistakes. A few dumb penalties that kept a couple of drives alive, plus a busted blocking situation that caused the blocked punt that gave them their only td. MSU won't come with that misdirection stuff. They're playing straight up. This should be a game where our defensive line performs like we all expect them to.
