I objectively listen to all types of rap, i don't like.
You never know if one day,...
Maybe one day they will improve like cam, common, ti, even weezy.
So, I try not to miss that.
Gibbs will not improve till he develops some cadence and actual advanced technical skills and real content for his genre.

hes very repetive, but he has a certain sound to em that i dig. his flow is great. typical gangsta lyrics but heseems mad in tune with what hes doing artistically imo. thuggin is classic and a move most in his genre would never make. madgibbs gonna be the next madvillain type underground classic. watch

there was a distinct up in technical skill with ti when trapmusick dropped as opposed to i'm serious.
he has since digressed, from that skill.
which is up for speculation in another thread.
past, that.......
no way you did not notice the most distinct up in skills in the south's history.
which occurred in ti's skillset during that era.

nor, have I ever been impressed.

I only listen to see if I missed out and I am not missing out.
I don't even have a favorite record by duke, and I know I been listening before box chevy, easy.

that is just how much time, I have wasted listening wise.
plus, culturally...duke really does not have anything to offer.
case in point,...
his wu tang song was so god awful.
I still don't know how the fukk I even try to listen to his shyt.
