shyt is cool, but some parts should be separated from the rapping such as when you was talking about Oscar getting shot, and you can hear the shooting happening. You should stop at "one shot", and then let the background noise play, cut the drums down, then go back into the rap, and bringing the drums back in.

The hook is cool but as you go into the rhymes around 0:31 seconds, you should slow down for like a bar or two, then go back into the fast rhyming. Going from slow to fast forces the brain to pay more attention then the whole thing being fast, but overall the concept and the pieces are good.

Also, I would take out the hi hats in the intro, and just let the melodic sound go until the drums hit. Put a little echo on the snare to make the drums be more alive with the sounds in the background, but cut it down if you do. Try a rim shot for the snare, and see how that sounds. A rim shot would help the track be more melodic, and mystical. Add some ad libs, and you got one! Peace.

Respect! I appreciate the mix insights and agree with a lot of your points, especially your 1st point about creating more seperation/space between my vocals and the clip from the shooting. The rim shot and reverb suggestion is a good idea as well, :salute: for the thorough feedback
