interesting … i know WFAN & ESPN made it a violation - if you work for either you’re not allowed to be on the other broadcasts
so I assumed, FS1 had similar restrictions

Probably just ESPN vs WFAN since they are direct competition in NY radio
Carton can probably negotiate it, also Nick had a Mad Dog Radio show at night while doing FTF in the mornings
SAS was doing Mad Radio in the afternoons right after First Take for awhile

Yeah it was strictly a WFAN and ESPNY beef. Francesa could never have Peter Gammons on to talk baseball because he was working for ESPN. Fox has no such restrictions, that I'm aware of. No Breeny; No Jeff Van Gundy etc. etc. to talk NBA playoffs ; finals
and I believe it was the key to WFAN stopping it’s traditional Mike & Madd Dog Super Bowl week at said locations (back inna dayz ESPN hired so many ex players / coaches etc. etc. and I remember Mike saying it was frustrating that people who he knew ; was very personal with & close to for decades weren’t allowed to do interviews with him at WFAN set at the Super Bowl site)

Yea.. it's pretty apparent that Marcellus was ushered out of the gig by FS1 due to some of his right wing leaning beliefs. Plus those Vlad interviews certainly didn't help. He's not nearly as intolerable as that fat fukk Whitlock though.
