Nick's talent was evident from the start, if you have an eye for talent. He can be off putting at times but he's an entertainer, he's smart, and he plays well with others. Those are 3 characteristics that a ton of sports personalities don't have...

He hasn't said he's going anywhere and as long as he wants to do this, he'll be around. He's gonna carry Fox Sports once Colin retires within the next decade (Colin just turned 61, and has hinted that he'll be transitioning away from his current role in sports, in the next decade). Nick is only 40, he still has multiple decades of doing this if he wants...

Broussard is also an entertainer who Fox Sports got the best out of him. He perfectly plays his role on this show. Sports fans are fickle and hate most talking heads šŸ˜† but as far as talking heads go, these guys are among the best at present...
He plays the villain ala Skip Bayless but he doesn't go too far in his takes and trolling to make you dislike him. FTF just nailed the core cast and getting rid of Wolfe only made the show better. Wildes sliding into the moderator role really boosted the show.

hes also pretty good at not doubling down and is fine with taking an L here and there so he's consistent enough it seems like actual argument and not just argument for sake of argument

wildes actually probably makes the show. hes not just a decoration there and he brings a lot of humor very few moderators can bring

Brussard came a long ways from his NBA sources days at ESPN.

He's much better now and a perfect fit for the show. Those three have the perfect chemistry for a show. We've seen First Take, Undisputed, and others where there is great chemistry at times, but you could always tell there was some animosity or tension beneath the surface. You don't see that here, and it seems that they all genuinely love working with each other.

Yes, you'll have each of them, especially Nick stick and have a hardline with the LeBron, Chiefs, etc. views, but that is just television. I don't think it takes much away from the show, unlike when Skip would just shyt on Rodgers, jerk Brady off, disrespect Belichick, disrespect Floyd, disrespect LeBron, etc.

Nick cool if it's not about LeBron or the Chiefs
But those are the things are necessary evils to allow you to see that. Nick has used Bron just like Skip did. Difference is he does seem to be cool and an actual well adjusted human being that understands and accepts that wrestling is a work. Nobody would be tuning in now, shyt he wouldn't have even got the look, if it wasnt for the Bron riding. They actually go entire episodes without discussing Bron or KC if they arent relevant. He seems to actually like sports and appreciate other athletes.

It seems like Brou has been restrained previously. I thought he was a hoe ass nikka that everybody pushed around. He actually seems pretty cool too. He was holding this personality under wraps for years.

The three of them all play their role well. Not gonna lie, I had my doubts about Wildes as just generic white man but his randomness can actually be funny sometimes ala Woody Paige but you not asking him to carry shyt.

As far as Brou goes, I think that (as most people), once you reach a certain age, AND you have enough money to reach the F you level (whatever that may be for any of us), you will just be more relaxed and yourself. I think he is in his 50s now, and has been in TV/press for all these years, he probably has enough money to just be comfortable and not bottled up as he had to be moving up the ranks. That helps the show alot.

This is by far the best sports show on TV.
