i watched the season over the last two days. It was good. I remember Baki the grappler from back in the day, but i never paid it no attention. I might have to go back and check out the original now. That Sagat dude was a beast.

They do the whole anime romance shyt and monologues during fights... but it's not as bad as others

as a huge baki fan I'm some what disappointed with this remake. They used terrible CGI for some of the most anticipated fight scenes

I just wish they would've started from the beginning when he was a child.. Or at least started the remake with the big tournament that just happened that they constantly make references to

I remember reading the manga up for a while (only remember bits and pieces like Baki winning a tournament in front of Doppo Orochi and then them planning to "spar" if I recall right). But there's a LOT that I haven't seen/read and this series is fire.
