Personally, I would've rather played as a haitian Florida jit with one foot in the streets and the other in the music industry. Becoming everything from the boss of the zoes to a hebrew israelite. You could even have the second lead be a studio gangster/former CO as the mentor figure. fukkery writes itself

And any resemblance to real persons living or dead is purely coincidental
