Yeah, like a year ago. No studio wanted to commit to a $200 million R rated horror film with a dark ending. Not even after James Cameron and Tom Cruise cosigned Del Toro.

Trust in Del Toro. I am POSITIVE the trailer cannot convey the atmosphere and story del toro will create. If you think Del Toro is just gonna skip out on a story for mindless robot action like Michael Bay did you're sadly mistaken
