Time too save up now. 120hz 4K or 8K :ohlawd:

It's either new tech or a new bike. That ninja 650 is so beautiful :ohlawd:
Where do you live? I bought a new 636 last summer and already put 2,000 miles on it :ahh:

more interested in the quantum dot vs OLED battle emerging. Interesting to read the Quantum Dot supporters are now saying Edge Lit is the superior way to light an LCD with quantum dot film. Looking at the 2017 sets, the QLED blacks are getting close to OLED. The colors are looking crazy too.

this is some serious bullshyt

i almost bought a tv last year... but then being close to next year, i want to see what's new

now they got all this shyt coming... meaning these tvs are obsolete... so i think i'll cop one. but now i'm thinking by the time i have it 6 months, it'll be some other new shyt to make my purchase some bullshyt

they can't future proof these shyts
Just cause some new shyt comes out doesnt make your tv obsolete or look worse than when u bought it :heh:
Just won't be cutting edge :mjlol:

you right... not obsolete.. but some nikkas bought a tv for 2k and up about 3-4 months ago

only to find out if they waited a few more months, that tv would be $800 and the 8k with the real real HDR is the same damn price

makes you feel like a fukking idiot.. especially when half the companies are selling fake hdr and all the companies are hiding the facts of what they working on

probably got 16k ready for 2018 and not even saying shyt

The announcement of HDMI 2.1 supporting 8K shouldn't concern people really. There's no 8K content coming out anytime soon. Hell, we're JUST now starting to get some 4K content. This is just a standard being updated to support this higher quality bandwith but that doesn't mean you gonna see 8K TV's on sale for $2000 in a few months. There's always going to be something better around the corner. Realistically 8K content probably won't be antiquated until probably 2020+.
